The one where she went to the Lee Hom concert

Because I love him. Because somehow, although I don’t understand most of what he sings or says, I still love him. Because he can wear a simple Celcom t-shirt and he looks naturally normal. Because he joked about how it was hot like a sauna. Because his shirt was drenched and he allowed the camera to do a close up of the perspiration. Because he was able to make fun of the small small things. Because he was drenched with mineral water by his dancers and he looked damn delicious. Because I know that although I would really never get the chance again to ever watch him sing live, and that I’ll NEVER ever get to meet him, EVER. Because I just love him.

The concert was everything I imagined it would be. I’m still running around on cloud 9, trying to come down to reality. It was incredible. Honestly, there are no words to really describe it but I think incredible, exceptional and out of this world are some that fall under that category.

It started out to be a bleak evening with rain all over KL. I accidentally ended up in the same train as Mel, Rachel and Wendy, emphasizing the fact that yes, it does take the equal amount of time to get to one place between our campuses.

Pre-concert rituals ensued, before we got copies of the concert poster. Another one to add to the one I already have. We decided to go in early and it was AWESOME. Our seats, I mean, and the stage, and the atmosphere and everything else. I can’t remember if it was me or Kimmie who called each other and we talked over the barricade that separated the VVIPs with the rest of the seats.

Concert started punctually and dear God, I was trying to just memorize everything that happened lest I forget ala BSB concert. The pictures that I snapped were not clear unless they were taken from the screen. But it’s ok though..I witnessed the concert and I’m BLARDY happy…

Lee Hom was gorgeous. Even from where I was seating I could see that he was gorgeous. And his moves were like liquid. Seriously well rehearsed. And he was adorable through and through. To see him play those instruments (more than 3) was just…a sight…*sighs* I couldn’t help but scream through and through…we weren’t allowed to stand so that was a bummer…had to make do with what I could while sitting down.

All all of us could agree on was that he looked really really touched whenever he looked up towards the fans. And you could see that he was singing to the fans and not blindly looking into the audience.

The way he bent over to talk into the violin to say that he didn’t have a mic, the way he sang with J. J. Lin, the way he interacted with the girls who were passing flowers to him on stage…aiyo…and he said “terima kasih” twice, which was the most adorable thing, really…

I’m ready to cry but the tears of happiness won’t come out.

And of course, me being a red-blooded girl cannot deny the fact that he looked near-edible when he was soaked in water. Dear goodness, if I wasn't screaming, I would have already passed out. I don't know if they were trying to put us in a coma but I think it almost came as close to that for us girls who got to see it live, without the screen. GAAAHH...DELICIOUS!

I love him, I really do…and although I didn’t get the chance to do things the way I did when BSB was here, it’s *sorta* ok. I got a message from Kimmie saying that she got into the after party at the Mandarin Oriental and that she got to talk to Lee Hom. That girl is just so lucky, really. I was never born with that much luck.

*sighs* Oh well…

I can be a teenynbopper and say that maybe one day I’d be able to actually meet him and just say those three sentences that I’ve told myself that I’d say.

But be realistic, darling. That’ll probably never happen. *Le sigh*

I love Lee Hom.
