Initially, I decided to go to the Sara Bareilles concert because two of my crazy girls are big Sara fangirls. I was also a fan of a few of her songs and I thought that it won't do any harm checking her out live since at least I was guaranteed a good show. Also, I never say no whenever it comes to a chance to hang out with them so...
Fast-forward to last Wednesday night and it was awesomeeeeee. Not even a chesty cough and a flu could keep me from enjoying the concert. We had the floor seats, which were good seats and it was just...amazing. The show opened with Javier Dunn, who was her guitarist and I had heard a lot about him from Syima and Farah, who were excited to see him perform. LMAO. Syima wants him. <3 He did a few of his own songs but meshed some of them up with Rolling In The Deep and Marry You. I immediately lost my shit when he started with Rolling In The Deep
It was a sold out concert and the crowd was amazing. Simply amazing. SHE was amazing. I loved how she was very engaging with the audience and made us feel like she was talking to you personally. The audience at the top balcony were dancing out of their seats and the in house security...people relaxed the rules a bit to allow us to film the concert
She was positively glowing on stage and her interactions with the crowd were hilarious. I mean, who DOES that? Who actually talks to audience members when they hear shouts and screams, from the floor seats to those shouting from the top balcony? And the crowd was just awesome. People were actually paying attention and listening to her sing. This was most apparent during her encore with Gravity. You could literally hear the crowd shush everyone the moment her fingers started to gently play the piano keys. It's not that apparent on my video but it'll give you a hint of what happened.
Sara Bareilles kept talking about how awesome Singapore was to her and how she loved it and it was nice to see such...enthusiasm from a musician. There are musicians who take are just flawless on stage and there are musicians who obviously just can't be bothered and it is the former that enables the crowd to leave the venue feeling as if the concert was over too soon, but in a good way.
I'm glad that I decided to go for her concert. I wish I was more eloquent to express how awesome the concert was but I'm a noob who is lowly turning into a fan... :)

And now for some videos! The spotlight kind of prevented me from capturing her clearly and I couldn't take more videos because the battery from my camera was running out but the sound's good so yay! :D
Kaleidoscope Heart intro
So the backstory for this video is that right after the concert, Sara twitvid-ed the audience from her point of view at http://www.twitvid.com/DFIUH. Here's what we saw from our point of view :D :D
Single Ladies
Hold My Heart
Let The Rain (Encore 1)
Gravity (Encore 2)
She did 2 encores. HOW AWESOME WAS THAT??!!?
