15 February 1960

She would have been 52. She would probably be upset that I have not been taking my studies seriously. She would be somewhat confused as to why I've chosen to not get involved in relationships even at this point of time in my life.

She would have seen my brother get married. And she would have met her first grandson.

She would have gotten the chance to raise the second daughter that I knew she had always wanted. I was 10 when I found out, only because I wanted a little sister too.

There are a lot of things that she would have done. A lot of things that she would have gotten to see.

Every single day of my life, I now wonder if she would have been proud of me. I would like to think she would be but I'm never that sure.

Happy birthday, ma.

I miss you.
