Why I Chose This Book


I've been using Goodreads for a while now (and it has become my mission in life to get people to use it being an educator and getting people to read bla bla) and the site has a lot of good recommendations based on the books you like and do not like.

Feeling curious one day, I decided to peruse the recommendations function on the site and stumbled upon this book, which received almost perfect ratings.

The writer, Julie James, was a lawyer and the premise of the story dealt with the FBI. Smart woman writing about mysteries and crimes? Hello potential favourite! I'm already invested in J. D. Robb's In Death series (although to catch up with all her books may require me to turn 35 first and that's only if she'll stop writing for a while!) so I have a feeling that I may like it!

So here I am, attempting the first out of the two books in the FBI series (for now).

Also: Is this not an incentive to read her books when you find out that her next one will be based on this perfect specimen of a human being?
